How to Perform a Factory Data Reset: Difference between revisions

Operate after terminal power on

Go to system menu, Settings>Backup & reset>Factory data reset, after click, it will reset to factory setting and remove all the installed apps.

Operate when terminal power off

Q1

Press the "Power" button and "Scan" button at the same time, last about 5s.
After 20-30s, the recovery UI displayed.
In recovery menu, select "factory reset(wipe D/C) to reset". Please use "Scan" button to switch between the sub menus and use "Power" button to confirm.
After reset success, select reboot system now.

Q2/K2

Press "Power" button and "Volume(+)" button at the same time to reboot the terminal into recovery mode. Notes: when the terminal start, keep on pressing the "Volume(+)" is easy way.
After 20-30s, the recovery UI displayed.
In recovery menu, select "factory Wipe Data/factory reset". Please use "Volume(-)" button to switch between sub menus and use "Power" key to confirm.
After reset success, select reboot system now.
