There are 3 ways to update firmware remotely.

Update the full firmware package, full firmware package is very large, even don't care about the data-flow usage, but if terminal internal storage has not enough space, it always fail, so this way is not recommended. Generally, if cusomer only wants to update several devices, they can choose this way.

Update the specific firmware patch package, this way, please contact vendor.

Update the firmware with auto-generate patch package, this way, please contact vendor.

Update the full firmware package

You can get the full firmware package from vendor, then configure it to wizarview as Application -> application with type firmware. Usually the full firmware package is about 500M, so it's better to use WIFI or ethernet to do the updating. As the pakcage is full system, so you needn't to consider the old version of the firmware in existing terminals.

Update the specific firmware patch package

The specific firmware patch package only can be update to specific old firmware version of the existing terminal. So do not configure it to wrong terminal. You can get such firmware patch package from vendor, then configure it to wizarview as Application with type firmware. Usually the patch firmware package is less than 100M.

Update the firmware with auto-generate patch package

This is an advance option to the specific firmware patch package updating. You should require vendor to configure the target firmware version for you. Then you can configre the target firmware to your temrinal via Application -> Firmware submenu. You needn't to consider the old firmware version of the existing terminal, wizarview will generate the patch package automatically. Usually the updating package is less than 100M. But sometime, if the old firmware version of your some existing terminal is standard release version ( e.g. The beta version from Sales persions or supporter), the wizarview can not generate the patch, so you can tell vendor or update this terminal with full firmware package manually.
