How to Troubleshoot SIM Card Signal Issues on a Terminal

When inserting the SIM card, look at the display of the lock screen

  • If shows "No SIM card - Emergency calls only", please check whether insert the SIM　card to the correct place. The follow picture is slot place of Q2, please notice that after insert SIM card, you should restart the terminal, the slot doesn't support hot plug.

  • If shows a blank signal or a forbidden signal icon like the follow picture, please check the Settings>More>Cellular networks>Preffered network type, set the correct type.
