How to Resolve SIM Card Network Issues on a Terminal

When the SIM card is inserted, the signal is displayed on the status bar.

  • If there is no data flow with up and down arrows
    • Check whether Mobile data turns on. From Settings>Data usage>Mobile data.
    • Check whether the SIM card can be used.
    • Check APN Setting, From Settings>Cellular networks>Access Point Names, add or select an APN.
  • If the application has problems connecting to the server
    • Click Settings>About POS>POS Configuration>Merchant Self Test>Advance>PingTool, ping some well-known website, if success, the network is good, if fail, still need to check is there any settings not correct.
  • If the signal is weak, please use the same SIM card to test whether it is caused by the signal.
