How to Disable the Portable Hotspot on a Smart POS Terminal

Turn off by Settings menu

  • Click Settings-->More-->Tethering & portable hotspot
  • Turn off Protable WLAN hotspot

Turn off by application

Here is a demo of turning off the portable hotspot by application.

Turn off from wizarview

  • Select Terminals>Terminal.
  • Select the terminal want to turn off hotspot.
  • Click Config System Parameter icon.
  • In the popup page, select tab System
  • Choose Disabled in dropdown list of WIFI HotSpot.
  • Click Commit.

Please Note:

  • In Q2/K2/QD4/M2, firmware version should larger than 3962.
  • In Q1v2, firmware version should larger than 0481.
  • In Q2A7, firmware version should larger than 0240.
